Our modern offices offer fully equipped kitchens, free onsite parking and relaxing breakout areas. We overlook the River Tay at the heart of Dundee’s waterfront. We are close to the new railway station and bus links. Dundee City Centre is a short five-minute walk from the office where there is a large selection of shops, restaurants and bars.
We have all been the new person at one time and we know how important it is to feel welcome and get the induction you deserve. Our induction programme will teach you all you need to know and introduce you to colleagues from across all departments.
We believe that having the right work/life balance is a priority and have policies in place to deliver that for all our staff. We offer up to six months full pay for maternity, adoption and shared parental leave. We also provide two weeks full pay for paternity leave. It is our intention to make agile working the default working practice wherever we can. However, we know that agile working is not for everyone and will provide office accommodation where required.
We offer competitive salaries for each job role. Each salary scale has incremental steps of 2% progression to the top of the pay band and is reviewed annually. New entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. We’re committed to paying the Scottish Living Wage and are an accredited living wage employer.
We offer a generous annual leave entitlement of up to 38 days a year dependent on your length of service. We also have five fixed public holidays when our offices are closed for St Andrews Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day and the first two working days of the new year.

We are committed to partnership working with our recognised trade union, UNISON. Our Partnership Agreement supports a process of collective bargaining. This allows us to work collaboratively to develop, agree and review our working culture through human resources policies, terms and conditions of service and organisational development initiatives.
We offer a defined benefit pension scheme on a career average basis. Members build up a pension at a rate of 1/49th of the pensionable pay received in that scheme year. Employee contributions vary between 5.5% and 12% dependent on earnings and
we match this with a 17% employer contribution.

Should you become ill or be unable to work due to an injury we will continue to pay sick pay for authorised periods of absence dependent on your level of service allowing you to focus on getting better.

Our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to all employees. It is an integrated online and offline personal support programme that gives staff unlimited access to a range of specialist support and information including health worries, financial advice and family care.
We are committed to the development and learning of all our staff and offer a continuing education policy supporting higher, further and vocational education and other recognised learning activities for all our staff. All our staff have a six monthly development discussion with their line managers, giving an opportunity to discuss your progression, your successes, your learning and development needs and your career aspirations and how we can support you to achieve these.
