In MySSSC your registration status and your registration certificate will say if your registration is subject to a qualification condition.
Who is responsible for my qualification condition?
You are responsible for making sure you gain a qualification that meets our registration requirements.
Your employer also has a responsibility to provide you with support to gain qualifications under the Code of Practice for Employers.
The support employers can provide may differ, some may:
- fund your qualification
- have access to a training provider
- offer support to help you access funding and training yourself.
It’s important to speak to your employer to find out what support is available to help you gain your qualification.
How do I access funding to gain a qualification?
You may need to fund your qualification yourself.
We’ve provided some suggestions of possible funding on the Funding for training page.
You should also ask your employer and training provider about any available funding, as this is not a comprehensive list.
